 Ask are my goals SMART?

            Specific,

            Measurable,

            Attainable

            Relevant,

            Time –Bound

Setting specific, challenging, and obtainable goals enhances performance.

Developing team goals that help close the “Saying-Doing Gap?”

Forge Common Purpose: move hearts as well as minds….explain WHY when possible.

Lead with Focus to solve problems and reach goals

It helps to know that Five goals is the absolute limit of priorities that we   as humans can process and remember.”

Leadership is the ability to translate vision into reality

Excellence is a habit- develop it

Realize Great leaders do not work alone

  • Bring others on Board- create a leadership team

See yourself as apiece of Swiss cheese–know your holes (weaknesses) and add others (slices) whose substance, when layered on your slice, eventually creates a solid, firm unified block of cheese. A single slice of cheese with its many holes can easily be pulled apart, but a solid block is very difficult to pull apart.”

Everyone needs to Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk to stay on the same page

The more players on board helping you achieve the vision and mission of the team. Everyone’s ability to meet the vision increases- and you are also building future leaders

Make certain every member of the team feels his or her role and input are important and hold him or her accountable – Have FUN together!
